It's been awhile since I last posted, and for that I apologize.  I'm getting ready to do some reworking of the website, but for now I'm going to post my promised update to my guide for gearing up anew Shadow Priest post 3.3.  I've spent several hours looking over gear that's easily available to a brand new 80, and the bad news is that you're not going to get geared up for ICC using just gear you can get from running heroics.  Never fear though, I've got a set of guidelines for you to follow that'll get you close, and a little extra help from your guild will push you the rest of the way.

Well, we're finally getting details on 3.3 gear drops, and much of it looks very nice. It's a bit early yet, and stats on items *may* change, but I figured I'd do a quick write-up on gear to start picking up when the patch hits. This will be especially helpful for new members of the priesthood, but hopefully this will help those of you who've had rotten luck on a couple gear slots (like I have).

I've been holding off on this post, as the data that's been coming out on Shadow Priest itemization has frankly looked a bit fishy. I also didn't want to comment on any changes until the PTR had been up for a few weeks, in case some of the buffs we've gotten wound up getting rescinded. Well, things look a bit more stable now, and I've seen some newer sources of theorycraft data, so here are my recommendations post 3.3.
