Tonight I've got some updates on a couple of our glyphs. We were expecting some changes with 3.2, but it looks like things got messed up.
To begin with, I'm confirming that Glyph of Mind Flay is no longer reducing the snare effect to 10%. I'm not sure it's a full 50% snare with the glyph, but after testing the spell on multiple mobs I know they're getting slowed by alot more than they used to.
While Ghost Crawler hasn't confirmed this yet, quite a few other Priests have. So we've got an unintended buff at the moment.
Next, Glyph of Shadow is not behaving like it should, according to the patch notes. Patch 3.2 was supposed to include a buff to this glyph, allowing it to proc off of Periodic Damage that crits (our DoTs).
After extensive testing tonigh, I've determined that DoT crits do not proc this glyph. Now, the initial blast of damage from Improved Devouring Plague can proc the glyph, but all other sources of damage from the glyph don't work.
